Rent a Car
If you plan on renting a car for the weekend, you should consider getting one with 4-wheel drive. The drive to Winter Park is through one of Colorado's most scenic high mountain passes - Berthoud Pass. In February, snowfall is usually expected - although the road crews do a fantastic job clearing the road to Winter Park, please be extra cautious when encountering steep declines or inclines and curves along the way.
